The Carrick a Rede rope bridge can be found close to Ballintoy on the spectacular North Coast of Northern Ireland.  Connected to the cliffs 100ft above the Atlantic Ocean, it was first erected by salmon fisherman over 350 years ago, and leads to a single building – a fisherman’s cottage, on the cliffs. 

Visitors flock here every year to make the exhilarating crossing.
