Originally knows as the ‘Gentlemen’s bathing place’ at the end of the 19th Century, the Blue Pool near Ramore Head in Portrush is a deep inlet and was regularly used for diving competitions, attracting large crowds. While it doesn’t draw the crowds it once did, it’s still popular for diving.
This photograph looks towards Landsdowne Crescent.
