The Lake District by Rosie's Easel

This painting captures the stunning view from the Falcon Crag in Borrowdale towards Newlands, Keswick and Skiddaw in the beautiful Lake District. The original was created with acrylic paints using a map of the area for the canvas. The pale blues of the map have been drawn out and painted in a continual way to show the flow of the lakes between areas off the map and the painting. 

‘I love how this one turned out,’ explains Rosie. ‘I have incredible memories of completing my Duke of Edinburgh through the mountains of the Lake District and loved trying to learn to sail here a number of years later.’

The print is available in two sizes so you can find the perfect spot for your new piece of art. Both the medium and large prints come with a crisp white mount while a framed option is also available. 

Dimensions: medium A5 print matched with a mount (10” x 8”) or glass fronted black frame. 

Large print A4 matched with a mount (14” x 11”) or glass fronted frame.
